We all face similar challenges.
A community differs from a media by being centered around its members in the first place. It can also help you get external perspectives and on-going support for a variety of needs.
The systemic approach for continuous value delivery requires the collaboration of various expertises on the entire software value-chain, that can be animated through a shared space.

Why having a Quality Engineering sharing space
The QE Unit started as a community from day one. I am convinced that the more interactions between the actors of an ecosystem, the faster they improve their practices.
The rate of changes is drastically accelerating in the globalized, innovative and interconnected landscape. Organizations require building their capability of continuous reinvention for survival.
The first reason was therefore to adapt faster in the changing ecosystem.
Another reason is the differentiation from social media and other public spaces. A more private space allows to restrict particular content, avoid flooding public spaces and be more focused on Quality Engineering.
Who can come to share on Quality Engineering
Anyone wanting to learn, contribute and share on Quality Engineering is welcome; we need to connect expertises of the entire software value-chain to improve our system.
You are welcome at any level. You can be a software engineer, QA, QAE, SRE, DevOps, PO, PM at any level of seniority, from CIO, CTO, head of, lead, manager, junior to staff engineer, etc.
What matters is to improve with Quality Engineering.
What to expect about Quality Engineering
Quality Engineering is the paradigm constraining software production to Quality at Speed, leveraging the MAMOS framework: Methods, Architecture, Management, Organization, Skills.
The Quality Engineering community chat is focused on delivering Quality at Speed by:
- Sharing our experiences;
- Building up the Quality Engineering Framework;
- Keeping in sync with the evolving ecosystem.
The minimal channels have been set for now; they will evolve based on the value and interactions of the community.
How to join the Quality Engineering sharing space
After sharing with existing members and experimenting with various solutions, we decided to use Slack as the community sharing space.
Similar to software decisions, we do not necessarily need the most recent fancy solution. What matters is to bring value with velocity.
In our case, for building Quality at Speed in your organization.
